The second possible solution is painting. You can use acrylic paint or wood enamelbut first sand the surface and if necessary also apply a coat of primer. Don’t choose products at random, but get advice from an expert or the retailer.
Also get some brushes and a roller to apply the color. Before starting, protect the parts you don’t want to paint with masking tape. Remember that you cannot start without a preliminary project: select a color palette and prepare one draft (even on simple paper) of the project, trying to combine various colors.
Decoupage
Another technique that can be useful for renovating old wardrobe doors is the timeless one decoupage. You can use wrapping paper or sheets of old magazines by cutting them into irregular pieces. Glue the pieces of paper to the doors with vinyl glue and pass the glue over them too, creating a collage. Cover the doors completely and let dry. Finish with a coat of clear varnish.
Painting with geometric patterns
If you love geometric patterns we suggest dividing the wardrobe doors into geometric sections with paper tape. You can create triangles, stripes, rectangles, rhombuses, squares or other shapes. Paint the various sections with acrylic paints or special enamels, let them dry and remove the tape.
