How the anema bags are made
The Anema collections are made with truly innovative materials such as cactus skin, hemp fiber, fabric derived from apple and even orange peel. To these are added corn and other natural elements, all certified, organic or recycled.

Orange (Ohoskin)
From Sicily comes one of the most fascinating innovations: Ohoskin, a material developed in Catania using orange peels and food by -products. After a specific treatment, these waste are combined with biopolymers and natural resins, giving life to a high quality vegan “skin”, resistant and with a unique texture.
Biological hemp
Among the most resistant natural fabrics ever, biological hemp resists UV rays, preserves the colors longer than any other natural fiber and is naturally antibacterial. A perfect choice for those looking for a beautiful, functional bag and ready to accompany over time.

)
Anema recovers the apple skins – food processing waste – and transforms them into a vegan, durable and flexible material thanks to the Uppeal technology. It is the perfect way to give a second life to what otherwise it should be thrown away, transforming it into design objects and stylists.
Cactus (Desserto®)

The cactus Nopal, cultivated without irrigation in the ranch of the state of Zacatecas in Mexico, is worked with a low impact process. The mature leaves are gathered every 6-8 months, they let themselves be dried in the sun and then turn into powder, mixed with non-toxic binders. The result is Dessert®, a soft material, resistant and completely cruelty free.
Corn and rpet
These new generation fabrics are born from the union of bio-components derived from corn and recycled pet collected in areas with high environmental risk. Shapes, colors and lines that tell the Mediterranean
The Anema collections are named after iconic places of southern Italy and its islands: Capri, Ischia, Procida, minors, up to the Sibilla line, available in three measures. Each model is designed to accompany different moments of the day: from the most spacious perfect for the office, to the elegant minibags for the evening, up to the ideal shoulder bag to stay light but with style.
The color palettes range from natural and warm tones – such as terracotta, sand, olive green – to brighter and Mediterranean colors such as lemon yellow, deep blue or brilliant orange. The lines are clean and contemporary, with well -kept details, invisible zips, reinforced handles and magnetic closures that combine functionality and design.
