With the return of the Sanremo Festival 2026, the parallel phenomenon that in recent years has revolutionized the way of experiencing the event also returns: FantaSanremo. It is no longer just a game between friends, but a truly national fantasy game involving hundreds of thousands of users. Each participant takes on the role of the fantasy coach and builds their own team by choosing from the 30 Big players competing. The goal? Score as many points as possible thanks to the results in the rankings, the official prizes and – above all – the bonuses and penalties linked to what happens on and off stage.
The official rules: budget, team and captain
Are you ready for this edition or do you need a refresher? Let’s start with the rules, which are simple but require strategy. Each player has 100 baudi available, the virtual currency inspired by Pippo Baudo. With this budget he must select 7 artists: 5 starters and 2 reserves. A captain must be appointed among the owners, a key figure because it doubles the points and penalties obtained by the chosen artist. It is possible to create up to 5 teams and register them in a maximum of 25 private leagues each. A smart move to multiply your chances of winning.
Deadlines: when the market closes
The deadline to register and freely change lineups is Monday 23 February 2026 at 11.59pm, the eve of prime time. After that time the teams will be frozen. But be careful: during the week there will be two extraordinary market windows, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February, from 8:00 to 20:00. During those hours it will be possible to exchange starters and reserves before the start of the evening.
