Tiziano Ferro is the super guest of the first evening of the Sanremo Festival 2026, today 24 February. It all started to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Xdono, a song that I never sang on that stage, the artist said in a recent interview with Fanpage, explaining the reason for his return to the Ariston.
The singer from Latina clarified that it is not a competition, but a celebration: the first time he performed Xdono on television was on Domenica In hosted by Carlo Conti, and it was precisely this bond that pushed him to recreate that situation on the stage of the event. A return which, he specified, does not exclude future participation in the race.
On the show front, Ferro anticipated that he will also bring Sono un grande, but the focus of the evening will remain Xdono. His performance will be anything but a classic medley – a word that the artist has declared he doesn’t love – but rather something powerful, with danceable songs and beats. I have a huge list of fast songs, he explained, underlining how the ballads have somewhat dulled his more dancing soul over time.
The Ariston is therefore preparing to become a dance hall, with a lineup that includes Ti scavorò una foto, The difference between me and you, The stadium and Perdono performed with an orchestra conducted by maestro Fabio Gurian, for a total duration of approximately seven minutes, followed by Sono un grande.
