On Thursday 26 February the Sanremo Festival live on Rai 1 from the Ariston Theater featured the final of the Nuove Proposte, the performances of the last 15 Big names in the competition and very prominent guests.
The management
Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini led the evening supported by two exceptional co-hosts. The Russian top model Irina Shayk took the stage at the Ariston for the first time, while the comedian and impersonator Ubaldo Pantani took on the role of one of his most iconic characters, Lapo Elkann. The section dedicated to New Proposals was presented by Gianluca Gazzoli, former host of Sanremo Giovani.
The final of the New Proposals
The evening opened with the decisive challenge between Angelica Bove and Nicolò Filippucci, the two finalists of the Nuove Proposte. The verdict was entrusted to three juries: Televoting at 34%, Press, TV and Web Jury at 33% and Radio Jury at 33%.
The winner was Nicolò Filippucci with the song Laguna, a song about a toxic love that ends but leaves its mark, while Angelica Bove won the critics’ and press room prize.
The Big 15 on stage
In the second part of the evening, the remaining fifteen competing artists took to the stage: Maria Antonietta and Colombre, Leo Gassman, Malika Ayane, Sal Da Vinci, Tredici Pietro, Raf, Francesco Renga, Eddie Brock, Serena Brancale, Samurai Jay, Arisa, Michele Bravi, Luchè, Mara Sattei and Sayf. The voting took place via Televoting and Radio Jury, each with a weight of 50%.
The duet Eros Ramazzotti and Alicia Keys
The most anticipated moment of the evening was the duet between Eros Ramazzotti and Alicia Keys on L’Aurora, a song contained in the new album Una Storia Importante, published on 21 November 2025 to celebrate the Roman singer-songwriter’s forty-year career. The two performed together live for the first time ever, in what was effectively a world premiere. Ramazzotti also brought to the stage Ora tu, the song with which he won the Festival for the first time in 1986.
Out of Ariston
The evening also extended beyond the theater. The Kolors animated Piazza Colombo while Max Pezzali performed on the ship.
The top five
At the end of the evening, the five artists at the top of the partial ranking were announced, without a precise order of merit:
