There will be only 1200 pieces available throughout Italy of the Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate Egg, the novelty that the Swiss brand has chosen for Easter 2026. A true limited edition – not one of those that remain on the shelves until after the holidays – available from 13 March. A product that has all the prerequisites to be snapped up in a very short time.
For those who have not yet encountered this trend – unlikely, but possible – it is worth taking a step back. The so-called “Dubai chocolate” exploded globally between 2023 and 2024, starting from an Emirati pastry shop and becoming in just a few months one of the most shared food phenomena on social media. The secret? A creamy filling of pistachio paste mixed with kadayif, a thin crunchy pastry of Middle Eastern origin, normally used in pastry making for desserts such as künefe. The contrast between the softness of the pistachio and the crunchiness of the kadayif is what has driven millions of people around the world crazy.
Lindt had already experimented with this flavor in its Dubai Style bars, in the milk, dark and white versions, and now brings it for the first time in the Easter egg format.

How the Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate Egg is made
The Dubai Style Chocolate Egg has a milk chocolate shell that contains a pistachio filling enriched with chopped almonds and, naturally, the crunchiness of the kadayif. Production takes place in the Lindt factory in Luserna San Giovanni, Piedmont: a non-secondary detail, which roots an international trend in an Italian production chain.
The packaging is very careful, together with the egg there is a couvette with the golden whip – iconic symbol of the Lindt Maîtres Chocolatiers – and a branded shopper. A packaging also designed for those who want to give a gift.
The fact that it is a limited edition is an integral part of the project. Lindt chose the drop format – a limited quantity, a precise launch date, no certainty of restock – to underline the exclusivity of the product. It is a logic borrowed from the world of fashion, increasingly widespread even in high-end food. The price has not been officially communicated, but the proposal is clearly positioned in the premium segment.
For those interested, the only strategy is to move in advance: the 1,200 pieces will be available starting from March 13th exclusively in Lindt stores and on Lindt.it and, given the precedent of the Dubai Style tablets – often sold out in peak periods – they will last very little.
