Seconds after the first heat, the pair set the best partial time in the second, winning with an overall time of 1’29″29. This success, well deserved and extraordinary, adds to the gold in combined, the silvers in super-G and giant slalom, and the bronze in downhill.
And with this medal, our country flies to fourth place in the medal table, after having already beaten on March 13th the medal record that had stood unbeaten since the 1994 Lillehammer Games.
Congratulations to everyone, we are proud of you!
