The best bottles of Prosecco awarded by Gambero Rosso (and almost all cost less than 20 euros)

Six labels of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore, all awarded with the Tre Bicchieri in the Vini d’Italia 2026 guide, almost all under 20 euros: this is the selection published by Gambero Rosso, designed to accompany summer tables including aperitifs, fish dinners and outdoor lunches.

A UNESCO territory between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene

The denomination, Docg since 2009, was born exclusively between the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the province of Treviso, where the Glera grape, present at least 85% according to specifications, ripens on steep slopes supported by the characteristic “ciglioni”, terraces made of grassy earth rather than stone. The territory, a mosaic of 8,600 hectares of vineyards distributed across 15 municipalities, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019.

Brut or Extra Dry, how to choose

Among the most popular types in summer, Brut stands out for its vibrant acidity and citrus hints, recommended with fish and shellfish; the Extra Dry, softer and fruitier, is better served as an aperitif or with fresh cheeses. The recommended serving temperature remains between 6 and 8 degrees.

The six awarded labels

The selected labels come from the tastings conducted for the Vini d’Italia 2026 guide dedicated to the Veneto:

According to the Gambero Rosso tasters, the vintage produced more taut and agile sparkling wines than usual, with finesse and acidic tension prevailing over fullness.
