As the UAI explains, on the eve of the solar eclipse, the very thin waning crescent moon rises, among the lights of dawn on August 11thfollowed, in the eastern sky, by Mercury and Jupiter, rather low on the horizon but still visible with a clear sky (and a bit of luck). The stars are aligned between the constellations of Gemini and Cancer (in the map the sky of August 11, 2026 at approximately 5.30 am).
