A good 15 years after the release of the final chapter in cinemas Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2the British actor Rupert Grint is preparing to once again take on the role that made him a global star: those of the unmistakable red-haired wizard Ron Weasley.
The official announcement immediately went viral among fans of the most famous boy wizard in the world: Grint will join the cast of the famous theater production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on stage at the Lyric Theater on Broadway, New York. The special engagement includes a limited stay of 17 weeks, starting from February 2, 2027 until May 30, 2027.

Ron Weasley has been a part of me since I was 11 and I can’t wait to meet him again at this stage in life. And the joy of returning to Broadway, this time in a role that has defined so much of my life, is truly thrilling.
