It took about two hours to save her: she was alive, but barely conscious. The rescue team requested a helicopter, but due to bad weather conditions it was unable to arrive.

So the rescuers took her to the rescue base camp and gave her water. Manisha then regained consciousness and ate some boiled rice. Understandably traumatized, she was airlifted to the pediatric emergency room at Kathmandu University Hospital on Saturday afternoon. Where she is currently recovering and reunited with her parents who were desperately looking for her.

The latest updates from local authorities speak of 752 victims and over 2,500 missing. So the budget, unfortunately, could increase, but the teams continue to work tirelessly.
