Let’s be ready two consecutive Moon – Saturn “kisses”.! August 30th and 31st will be repeated twice in a row Moon – Saturn conjunction which could also be seen to the naked eyealthough, to better appreciate the details of the Lord of the Ringswe always recommend using at least good binoculars. It will be a splendid farewell to the last completely summer month. Don’t miss it!
As the UAI explains, the 30 and 31 August we will see the “overtaking” of the Moon as it approaches and continues its journey beyond the planet Saturnreplicating the conjunction already observed on the night between the 3rd and 4th of the month.

Our satellite and the Lord of the Rings they will still be together in the constellation of Pisces and the Moon will have just passed the full phase (expected on the 28th of the month), therefore still very visible (on the maps the sky of August 30, 2026 at approximately 11.00 pm and the sky of August 31, 2026 at approximately 11.00 pm).
