Last week the recall concerned just one batch of veal with tuna sauce, while now the issue has widened, and by a lot. The Ministry of Health has published notices for vitello tonnato, roast turkey with lemon, baked turkey, roast turkey with mushrooms and pork loin, sold under the Portami Via brand of Eurospin and that of AMM53 Pasticceria-Gastronomia. The reason is the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
The recalled products
Behind all the products there is the same company, AMM53 Srl, which produces them in the factory in via Gioberti 36 in Spresiano, in the province of Treviso (IT M2V1X UE identification mark). The Eurospin references also come from there.
For the Portami Via line by Eurospin there are two references:

The reason for the recalls
The problem is possible contamination from Listeria monocytogenesthe bacterium that causes listeriosis. For a large part of the population, the infection remains a gastrointestinal disorder with fever, even if the Istituto Superiore di Sanità describes it as an illness that can be serious, with a high rate of hospitalizations and deaths. The greatest risk concerns pregnant women, for whom the infection can lead to miscarriage, fetal death, premature birth or infections of the newborn.
What to do in case of purchase
The indication is not to consume the products with the batches and expiry dates shown above and to return them to the point of sale where they were purchased.
