AAA the Sfattoria degli Ultimi refuge needs help amidst the mud emergency and flooded enclosures

The name Sfattoria degli Ultimi is not new to many. Following the unfortunate threats of culling their pigs due to measures to control African swine fever, the refuge was the subject of a gigantic mobilization. Now the animals cared for by volunteers still need us.

The heavy rainfall recorded in recent days has caused extensive damage to the shelter located in the metropolitan area of Rome. Rain and mud invaded the enclosures, took away the coverings and put the animals in danger.

In response to the emergency, the Sfattoria of the Last has launched a request for help to deal with this serious situation. There is a need for food for the over 200 animals in the sanctuary, the material must be purchased to be able to fence off the areas affected by the flood to keep guests safe and much more.

The appeal was spread via social media in the hope that the message will reach anyone who can and wants to support the volunteers and animals promptly. It continues to rain in the Roman area and for this reason the Sfattoria degli Ultimi asks its supporters not to abandon it in this particularly difficult moment.

The very first aid has already been delivered to the shelter, but the expenses are very high as is the workload on the shoulders of the volunteers. Anyone wishing to help physically can go to the shelter or send help to the address: Via Arcore, 92, 00188 Rome (RM).

Those who are far from the structure can help in various ways. The Sfattoria degli Ultimi recently shared the channels through which to make donations.
