Amazing Jannik Sinner! He also wins the Master 1000 in Paris and becomes world number 1 again (even if only for a week)

Immense Jannik Sinner! Today, November 2nd, our incredible super tennis champion also won the Master 1000 in Paris and, thanks also to his unexpected exit in the first round of Carlos Alcarazreturns number 1 in the men’s singles world ranking.

The Italian beat a very aggressive player in the final Felix Auger-Aliassime two sets to zero (6-4; 7-6): with this victory, among other things, not only does Sinner return to the top of the rankings but he also “gives a hand” to Lorenzo Musetti, who is playing for access to the Finals in Turin against the Frenchman.

If indeed Auger-Aliassime had he won today, he would have “frozen” his participation to the detriment of the Tuscan, while thus there is still hope: now it will be the ATP 250 in Metz and Athens that will decide who will be the eighth and last player to be admitted to the competition reserved for the top eight in the world.

In this regard, Italy will still be represented in all categories:

Unfortunately Sinner’s “throne” this time will only be for a week, as at the beginning of Finalswhich will be held in Turin from 9 to 16 November, last year’s points will be eliminated: by losing our Jannik 1000 points while Alcaraz only 200, the Spaniard will return to the top.

But who knows, Sinner might return to the “throne” soon anyway…

Meanwhile, congratulations Jannik, we are always so proud of you!
