Now in its sixteenth edition, this initiative offers an alternative way of travelling, enhancing exchange and sharing instead of paying in cash. To participate in the Barter Week, simply choose a structure participating in the initiative through the dedicated website www.settimanadelbaratto.it, where travelers can consult the “wish lists” of B&Bs.

These lists indicate the goods or services that the owners of the facilities they wish in exchange for their stayranging from homemade jams to cooking lessons, from photo shoots to small maintenance jobs. Once you have identified an opportunity that matches your skills or resources, you can propose an exchange: if accepted, the offer allows you to stay without costs.
