If you have recently purchased tuna in Conad supermarkets, be careful. The company has just recalled, as a precaution, a batch of its own brand hand-processed tuna fillets in olive oil. The product, in fact, could contain foreign bodies, the nature of which has not been specified by the supermarket chain.
Lot and expiration of the recalled tuna fillets
The tuna fillets in question are sold in 300 gram glass jars, with the batch number L30 1R and the best before date (TMC) 10/2028 (EAN code: 8003170071889).
They are produced for Conad Società Cooperativa by the company Italfish Srl, whose factory is located in the Porto de Sca de Olhão, in Portugal (PT G2375).
“As a precaution, we invite customers who are in possession of the product belonging to the same batch to return it to the Conad point of sale where it was purchased, which will replace it with another product or refund it” explains the company on its website.
