Among the couples of Beijing Express 2026 – broadcast from 12 March on Sky Uno and streaming on NOW – there is the one that aims to make the audience laugh at home, made up of Tay Vines and Assane Diop, competing under the name “I Comedian”. The declared objective is precise: «We want Italians to have fun and laugh watching other Italians traveling from home to the world».
Who is Tay Vines
Originally from Togo, Tay Vines built his career starting from social media, where he published many ironic videos that quickly went viral thanks to a direct and engaging style. In his sketches he addresses issues such as immigration, racism and prejudice, dismantling clichés with lightness. Parallel to his comedy career he also works as a clothing salesman.

Who is Assane Diop
Assane has Senegalese origins and has led a double life for years: factory worker by day, comedian by night. Between turns and laughter he has built an artistic path made of online videos that have gained a solid community on social media. The next step was television: his talent reached Zelig, one of the most important comedy stages in Italy.

How they met
The two met during an appearance on Le Iene Show. From that moment on they shared stages and projects, and the friendship that was born took them all the way to Beijing Express.
