The panettone it is the sweet symbol of Christmas, a must on our tables during the holidays. If you want to enjoy a higher quality product it is best to focus on artisanal panettone but those looking for something cheaper will certainly turn to the products on sale in supermarkets.
The choice is very wide but also in 2024, like every year, Altroconsumo analyzed the most important panettone brands and sold in our country (12 in total), to draw up a ranking, evaluating the quality of the ingredients, the flavor and the quality-price ratio.

The best panettone of 2024
Here is the 2024 panettone ranking, drawn up by Altroconsumo, which indicates the best of the test but also the best purchase, i.e. the product that offers the most advantageous quality-price ratio (which in this case coincide):
How the test was conducted
For the test, they were chosen 12 classic panettone, with raisins and candied fruit, because they represent the best-selling type in the 2023-2024 season. Each product has undergone laboratory tests and a double taste test (by a jury of experts and a panel of consumers).
These are the parameters taken into account to draw up the ranking:
All tested panettone samples were purchased between the end of October and the beginning of November 2024. Subsequently, they were sent to specialized laboratories and different locations to undergo analysis and taste tests. The prices of the products, however, were recorded in 50 Italian large-scale retail outlets in November 2024.
