Boxing Day admiring the sky: the Moon – Saturn “kiss” returns

An evening awaits us Saint Stephen very special: today December 26th let’s not lose the “kiss” Moon – Saturna conjunction that is not very rare but always fascinating. The event could also be seen with the naked eye (weather permitting), though to better admire the details of the Lord of the Rings we always recommend using at least good binoculars. We don’t miss out!

As the UAI explains, in the early hours of the night of December 26th the Moon, on the eve of First Quarter, meets Saturn near the limit between the constellations of Pisces and Aquarius (in the map the sky of December 26, 2025 at approximately 8.00 pm).

Happy viewing!
