A luminous trail, among the colors of dawn. A wonderful spectacle given by the comet Tsuchinshan-ATLASthe fabulous “comet of the century”, which in these hours is also visible from Puglia.
Already in recent days, the C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-Atlas had crossed the sky of Turin, while the maximum brightness will be reached between October 8th and October 9th. A record brightness, which is why it has been compared to that of Venus, the brightest planet in the solar system.
Once passed, the comet will say goodbye to us and disappear from the solar system.

Then in Abruzzo:

Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS was first observed in China in 2023 and initially looked like an asteroid. It gradually became brighter and brighter and only after careful studies was it understood that it was a small comet, between 1 and 2 kilometers in diameter. Astronomers believe it comes from the Oort Cloud.
