All fans of dinosaurs they will now be able to enjoy the Legowhich has launched itself into the world of fossils: for example, a triceratops skull which can also be built by children aged 9 and over.
As the Prehistory Park explainsthe Triceratops is the most famous of the “horned dinosaurs”, i.e Ceratopsidsand lived at the end of Cretaceous. The dinosaur had an enormous head with three horns: a short, stubby one on the snout, and two longer ones above the eye sockets, pointing upwards and forwards.
The set, part of the series LEGO® Jurassic Worldperfectly reconstructs the skull, consisting of 468 pieceswith total dimensions of 22cm high, 17cm wide and 17cm deep. Also designed for “young paleontologists” (from 9 years old), it is sold at 49.99 euros (not bad by company standards).
The Triceratops has an opening jaw, a rock base stand, an excavation site plate with mini-fossils and digging tools, as well as a minifiguresan information plaque and a piece of “amber” with a mosquito enclosed within it (which “reminisces” the famous colossal film by Steven Spielberg Jurassic Park).
But there’s more, because the app Lego Builder will guide dinosaur fans through an interactive experience, allowing them to zoom and rotate 3D modelssave your sets and track your progress.
