Charter of Culture, from 1 October you can request the 100 euro voucher for books: how to get it

From today 1 October it is possible to request the bonus provided for by the Culture Charter, an initiative of the Ministry of Culture, designed to promote reading and contrasting educational and cultural poverty.

The contribution, which amounts to 100 euros, can be used for the purchase of books, both paper and digital, at bookstores and affiliated points of sale.

Who can request the Card of Culture and how

The contribution is intended for families with an ISEE less than 15,000 euros, both Italian and foreign residing in Italy. The card is in digital format and has an annual validity, recognized from 2020 until 2024 Access takes place via Spid or electronic identity card (CIE), thus guaranteeing a quick and safe process.

The application must be submitted exclusively through the Io app, which will allow you to complete the procedure in a simple way. For each family unit, only one card and the ranking for the assignment will be drawn up on the basis of the ISEE, in increasing order (from the lowest to the highest), and based on the order of submission of the application, subject to exhaustion.

How to use the bonus

Once the application is accepted, the beneficiaries will receive the card directly in the “portfolio” section of the app. The funds will be available for 12 months from the release. The amount can be spent exclusively for the purchase of books with ISBN, both paper and digital, at affiliated bookstores. A complete list of stores will be available on a dedicated online platform.
