The point is this: there is no time to close Facebook groups where thousands of men were sharing private images of their partners and sexist forums in which, equally, stolen photos of women were posted complete with appalling comments, so that yet another site immediately emerges full of images of naked women (even famous ones), but artificially generated.
This is the time, in fact, of an incredible site, whose domain is armored and “hidden by many layers of anonymization that lead back to a Russian company“, as Selvaggia Lucarelli, one of the victims, explains. On it was found – among others – the journalist Francesca Barra, the first to report the discovery of naked images of herself generated with artificial intelligence through a post on social media.
From there a complaint was made to the portal (not a simple one) which has as many as 7 million members. Probably the same ones, and many more, who passed through Phica and the singer company.
In short, the crux of the matter is always the same: the female body “sold” online, abused excessively, even with AI. Physical and digital violence wasn’t enough, no no, we have also moved on to the perverse environment created with advanced technology.
What is this site
It’s the SocialMediaGirls which, as we said, has/had around 7 million members and thousands of people active 24 hours a dayeven if in Italy they seem to be a small part.
At first glance it would seem like the usual pornographic site on which you have to register, but in reality it is much more: it contains tens of thousands of photos, but also recordings from surveillance cameras, shots stolen from girlfriends and partners while they are unaware (again) and even an app to create pornographic material.
Furthermore, there is a section entirely dedicated to the women of Italian entertainment, stripped and transformed into pornographic content thanks to AI: there are more than 50, from Federica Nargi to Maria De Filippi, from Andrea Delogu to Cristina D’Avena, from Chiara Ferragni to Elodie to Anna Tatangelo and Elisabetta Canalis, and many others in addition to the aforementioned Lucarelli and Barra.
Selvaggia Lucarelli carried out an in-depth analysis by registering on the platform together with Serena Mazzini.
The first section of the forum is entirely dedicated to “advertisements”: spaces where sites and apps are promoted that allow the creation of pornographic content with the help of artificial intelligence.
Just read a few examples to understand what it is:
““Create Your Own AI Sex Slave”: Generate your own virtual sex buddy and ask the dirty AI slut for anything! Try it for free”
or:
“AI chatbot for dating
: Dive into uncensored adult chat with your personal AI ‘girlfriend’. Flirtatious, sexy and always online.”
They are slogans that describe a new type of interactive pornography, where the user can “dialogue” with artificially generated characters, personalizing every detail: from ethnicity to age, from body to voice, up to personality, or – as it is called – “the soul”.
Many of these platforms use real images or allow you to upload personal photos, however specifying that they must be “provided they are adultsNot all users use these spaces to push the limits of AI. Some people use them to promote themselves, as happens with several OnlyFans creators who publish previews of their content inviting you to follow them.
Next to them, however, an s movesmuch darker Ottobosco: men who use these channels to sell, exchange or show other people’s bodies. The adverts include titles such as “My escort site” or “material with Asian girls”, a mix of pornography, trafficking and domination that reduces everything – even people – to a simple digital commodity.
There are two areas of concern on the forum: the “Requests” and “More Categories” sections. Here users share or exchange pornographic material, sometimes generated with artificial intelligence, other times stolen from surveillance cameras or public spaces.
Naked Italian VIPs
Among the most visited subsections, “Italian Nude Vips” stands out, which collects thousands of images of Italian women from the world of entertainment and social media. Analyzing it, they emerged 56 victims identifiedin a continuous and ferocious exchange of requests and contents.
At the center there are well-known faces from TV, influencers and TikTokers, even very young ones. Their photos are taken from social profiles, reworked and reshared. Those who produce these materials gain prestige within the community, becoming a point of reference. The first post dates back to December 2, 2023, the last one a few days ago.
The evolution of techniques: jailbreaking
The most disturbing aspect is the speed with which the techniques are perfected. If the first contents were easily recognizable photomontages, today the manipulation is almost indistinguishable from reality.
Thanks to jailbreaking – that is, bypassing the filters imposed on artificial intelligence – faces are applied to virtual bodies with impressive realism. Some images have even been transformed into deepfake pornographic videosproduced by a bot on Telegram with over 285,000 monthly users.
That means hundreds of thousands of people can request a video “interpreted” by a real VIP, generated in a few minutes by an algorithm. The most concrete risk is that these materials are reused in the circuits of the sextortiononline sexual extortion. Those who practice it threaten to spread intimate images – authentic or created with AI – if the victim does not pay or send other content.
It is nothing new that in recent years this form of blackmail has spread widely, also thanks to the combination of deepfakes and messaging platforms that are difficult to monitor. A real parallel market was born around these forums. There are users who offer custom generation servicesreal informal e-commerce where you can purchase or commission pornographic content generated by artificial intelligence.
You can choose the style (realistic, cartoonish, anime), the duration, the framing, even the face – providing images taken from social media. Payments often occur in cryptocurrenciesto maintain anonymity and bypass controls.
Although companies like OpenAI and Google have introduced rigorous filters to block these abuses, in practice the controls are fragile: online communities continue to test the limits of the systems, publishing real guides on how to generate pornographic material by bypassing the rules.
Hacked cameras
Alongside the content created by AI, there is another dimension, even more direct: that of hacked cameras. In the “Multiple categories” section, thousands of videos from violated video surveillance systems accumulate.
Some videos belong to camgirl who use them for self-promotion, but alongside these appear thousands of recordings of women completely unaware that they are being watched.
In the thread descriptions there are references to “security cameras”, “doctor’s offices”, “hotels” and even “nudist beaches”. In many cases these are shots obtained from unsecured Wi-Fi cameras, baby monitors or video intercoms.
The illusion of normality
Users comment on the quality of the videos, ask for new materials, exchange compliments. A terrible assembly line of sex: no one seems to realize that behind every image there is a real person – even when they publish images of their sleeping girlfriends or neighbors taken from the window.
Many of the videos show everyday scenes: people changing, talking, moving around unaware of everything. Yet they are archived and cataloged as a separate “genre”, with dedicated threads.
What emerges, in short, is the image of a huge sweatshop. A place where pornography is not only produced, but extracted: searched in digital flows, refined, manipulated and resold. A parallel industry that feeds on hacking, artificial intelligence and indifference. A toxic ecosystem where many women also find themselves, completely unaware, contributing to a machine that transforms bodies into data, and privacy into goods.
Our violation, therefore, of us women, becomes visceral and almost automatic. It is difficult to stop this vicious flow, in which you cannot move freely. There is always someone around the corner to abuse your body just because you are a woman.
