Created the largest chocolate cow in the world: 550 kg of delicacy (and for a good cause)

TO Osornoin the heart of the Los Lagos region in Chile, an extraordinary edition of the Chocolate festivalwho had a protagonist one Natural size chocolate cow. The work, from the weight of over 550 kilosattracted more than a thousand visitors during the weekend.

The sculpture was created with skill by Javi and Jano chocolatiersflanked by the sculptor Roberto Rosas and with the collaboration of the students of the University of Santo Tomás. The famous chef Carlo Von Mühlenbrock, enthusiastic about the initiative, also told the event through his social channels, defining the cow “the largest in the world”, and publishing a video in which he personally participates in the realization.

During the fair were exposed beyond 50 different types of chocolatecoming from local producers and craftsmen from different regions of the country. However, the real attraction was the gigantic cow that made the event unique in its kind.

The proceeds donated to an organization that deals with children with tracheotomy and gastrostomy

As per local tradition, the chocolate cow It was broken at the end of the event and his pieces were auction. The entire proceeds was donated to the Foundation “Yo Te Cuido”an organization that deals with Children with tracheotomy and gastrostomyoffering them medical, psychological and social support.

The event, held at the Sonesta hotel, was not so only a moment of gastronomic festival, but also one Great solidarity initiative. The public has participated numerous and enthusiasm, contributing to an important cause through a simple and sweet gesture.

The goal of the event was twofold: on the one hand, Enhance local gastronomy and the excellence of artisan chocolate; on the other, sensitize Citizens and raise funds for those who need continuous assistance, also thanks to a giant chocolate cow.
