We have already shown you how to recycle the old advertising brochures of the supermarket creativity, transforming them into small functional storage containers. Today, however, we want to expand the range of ideas, proposing other recycling solutions.
Gift envelopes
The liveliest and most colorful pages of brochures lend themselves to become ironic and decidedly pop gift packs! Just cut them, fold them and glue them to form an envelope, perhaps adding a bow or a pendant ribbon. What to insert us?
Garland
Cut the brochures into strips and roll them up on themselves, closing them with a little hot glue. When you have made several, start gluing them on a circular cardboard or wood ring, until it completely covers it.
Seasonal decorations
From the old flyers you can cut stars, hearts, snowflakes or mushrooms. Once ready, just join them with a string to create original and colorful garlands. If you want to give an even more personal touch, you can first paint the pages of the brochures with tempera or acrylic, so as to obtain decorations with a unique and vibrant character.
Balls
Are you looking for different Christmas balls than usual? You can create them by rolling strips of paper cut by the old brochures around a polystyrene sphere, obtaining original and colorful decorations for the Christmas tree.
Bookmarks
Put the strips from the flyers, perhaps choosing parts with particular images or colors, and coated with transparent adhesive tape. Add a cord or a ribbon at the top by inserting it in a small hole: your bookmarks are ready!
Cornices
Recover some brochures, cut them into stripes and roll them up to form tubes. Then fix them with hot glue on a cardboard or wooden frame you want to decorate. So you will get a lively and colorful frame, ideal for framing photos or drawings.
Intertwined placemats
Cut the pages into wide strips and woven with each other. Once the rectangle is obtained, plasticize it with transparent adhesive tape: you will thus obtain resistant American placemats, washable and super original.
Collage
Do you like the collage technique? Put figures or abstract shapes from old brochures and assemblies with fantasy on a sheet of cardboard or rigid support. You can let yourself be guided by the inspiration of the moment or first prepare a draft of the drawing and then complete it with the pieces of brochures, as if you were creating a colorful and original mosaic.
Paper flowers
With the pages of the flyers you can make roses, lilies or daisies, modeling the petals and fixing them with hot glue. You can add some stalks of paper rolled up and insert the flowers in a nice pot or use them (without stem) to decorate gift packages or greeting cards.
Sub -flashes
To create sub -bars, you can cut the old strips, roll them up and assemble them to form rims or squares, applying a few drops of hot glue here and there to make them stable and compact.
