There are those who transform them into vases for plants and flowers, both indoors and outdoors, those who use them for hungry birds by converting them into feeders, and those who even make lamps out of them. We’re talking about old teapotsthe ones you no longer use but are sorry to throw away. Here’s how to reuse them with a pinch of imagination.
Vase
What’s simpler than turning a teapot into a vase? Just clean it, remove the cap, insert the jar with the plant or alternatively some flowers.
Table lamp
What if the old teapot was transformed into a beautiful table lamp? Transform it into a lamp stand by adding the electrical cables, lampshade and bulb.
Or collect two teapots, a small cup and a larger cup: assemble them to create the support for the lamp. The light bulb holder will be attached to the highest cup.
Bird feeder
Hanging from a branch, the teapot transforms into a beautiful bird feeder: insert the seeds and leave it suspended waiting for their arrival. They will thank you.
Chandelier
With an old teapot, 4 cups, 4 saucers, an old candelabra and some crystals, you can create a decidedly original and eye-catching chandelier/candelabra. Perfect in a shabby chic context!
Birdhouse
Not just a feeder, the teapot also lends itself to becoming a birdhouse: fill it with straw, attach the lid over the opening, and fix the teapot on a vertical support.
Garden decoration
If the teapot is very pretty, but a little damaged, you could hang it in the garden using a nice colored ribbon.
