Reticled paper confetti

Do you have old newspapers, advertising flyers, parcel paper or unused cardboard clippings? Turn them into confetti! Recover all the material you find in the house and prepare scissors, a piercer and paper envelopes (perfect those of bread or fruit) to keep the confetti.

How to make them:

  1. Cut the paper into strips of about 2-3 cm wide.
  2. Overlap some strips and use the piercer to obtain round -shaped confetti.
  3. If you have perforators with different shapes (stars, hearts, butterflies), use them to make everything more original!

Once ready, keep the confetti in the paper bags ready to be launched!

Confetti from dry leaves

An even more ecological alternative is to use dry leaves. Involve children in a walk in search of leaves of different shades to create colorful confetti e completely biodegradable. This solution not only avoids waste, but gives a unique and natural chromatic effect.

Procedure:

  1. Collect a good amount of dry leaves.
  2. Use a piercer or perforators to obtain confetti of different shapes.
  3. Keep the confetti of leaves in the paper bags until they use them.

Also in this case the leaves must be pierced and you can choose the most disparate shapes (just have the appropriate molds that cut out): hearts, butterflies, stars, etc.

Confetti from flowers of flowers

If you have flowers that someone has given you and that they are about to dry you can use them to make the confetti.

  1. Collect the petals and let them dry on a tray in the sun.
  2. If you have little time, you can dry them in the oven: arrange them on a baking tray with parchment paper and let them dry at 180 ° for about 10 minutes, until they are crunchy.
  3. Once dry, you can crumble or use them whole.
  4. Keep them in paper sachets for a colorful and fragrant carnival!
