Earthquake in Umbria: 3.8 magnitude shock in Massa Martana. Many people on the street

Tonight, at 11:11 pm, an earthquake of magnitude 3.8 shook Umbria, with an epicenter about a kilometer north-east of Massa Martana, in the province of Perugia.

Many residents, frightened, took to the street, but fortunately no serious damage to the houses were reported and, even more important, no injuries. The shock was also felt in Terni, Teramo and even in Rieti.

In the meantime, firefighters and civil protection intervened to evaluate the situation in a more detailed way, but according to the first surveys, the earthquake would have caused only a few slight damage to some buildings.
