Catania is preparing to become the logistics center of theSustainable innovation in the Mediterranean. From 15 to 17 April, the city will host the 17th edition of Ecomed Green Expo of the Mediterraneanan event that promises to be a crossroads of ideas, technologies and collaborations for the ecological, energy and digital transition.
The presentation of the event, which took place on March 25 in the Chamber of Deputies, underlined Ecomed’s importance as a strategic platform for sustainable Made in Italy. Born sixteen years ago, the fair has grown to become a point of reference for companies, institutions and stakeholders of the Mediterranean basin, favoring the exchange of Best Practice and the promotion of a greener and innovative economic ecosystem.
An hub for sustainability and innovation
The purpose of the Ecomed salon is to create a constructive dialogue among the most strategic sectors of Made in Italy and the protagonists of the Mediterranean scene. The event is not limited to presenting cutting -edge solutions in the fields of water cyclefrom the waste managementfrom the renewable sourcesfrom the sustainable mobility and of the territorial regenerationbut it stands as a real laboratory of ideas for the sustainable future of the Mediterranean.
The numbers of the last edition, With 11,000 presences and 325 participating companiestestify to Ecomed’s success and relevance. This year, expectations are even higher, with an expected growth of the participants and increasing attention by the national and international scene.
