In recent years, on social media the “trick” has become very popular to find out what surprise hides inside the Kinder eggs: weighing the egg! This method has been shared in various videos and, in fact, there is a fund of truth behind this practice, even if it must be said that the weights are indicative and can vary, as we had explained in a previous article on the Kinder Easter eggs of Harry Potter.
The question is complicated, however, when it comes to some exhibitors present in supermarkets, which report the weight of Easter eggs. In many videos on social media, it is believed that the content of the eggs and their weight, in relation to surprises, have already been revealed by the Kinder itself. But is it really the case?

Kinder Easter egg exhibitors: what really indicate?
In reality, these exhibitors, among other things only in some supermarkets, simply classify the eggs according to their size and the overall weightwhich is given by chocolate alone. They reveal, it is true, surprises but do not indicate the precise weight to find a particular surprise.
For example, the exhibitor can indicate that the 220g eggs are the maxi, but this does not mean that you will surely find Harry Potter inside a 220g egg. The only useful data is that the egg contains that amount of chocolate and different possible sopresce. There is no reference to the weight of a specific surprise, and there are no exhibitors who tell you exactly what you will find inside the egg.
In short, the truth is that The Kinder never wanted to reveal the surprises through the weight, let alone through exhibitors in supermarkets or viral videos on social media.
The only certain system to find out what’s inside a Kinder egg is to open it!
