But the emergency in Tuscany is not over yet: north of Tuscany The red alert still remains For hydraulic and orange risk for hydrogeological risk (which is however at least yellow throughout the region), and to the alert for hydraulic risk also remains for tomorrow 16 March, although orange.
Recall that although the red alert is the one that is most scary because it indicates one imminent dangerous situationthe orange one, however, highlights a risky situation and the yellow puts the area in a state of vigilance.
Maximum attention and prudence and avoid getting on the road@Eugeniogiani

No, it’s not bad weather
At the cost of repeating ourselves, we continue to say it firmly: all this is not called bad weather, but climate change associated with wicked territory management.
Tuscany came out of Terrible floods of 2023arrive shortly after those of Emilia-Romagnawho has relived the nightmare last autumn. And in general One Italian out of five, over 12 million people, resides in potentially permanent areas.

Overall, in Italy they are threatened by medium or high hydraulic danger 6.9 million people, 1.1 million companies and 4.9 million buildingswith particularly important risks for the regions Veneto, Calabria, Trentino-Alto Adige, Liguria, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagnaalmost all those where the soil consumption rate is higher or significantly higher than the national average, as emerges fromLast report by Italy for Climate.

Just speak of an emergency, just resort to shelters by buffering here and there (unfortunately not always successfully): they need, urgently, Planning and implementation of adaptation measures.
