If you have a dryer at home, you know how important it is to remove lint from the filter, but instead of throwing it away we suggest you recycle it in a creative way. We have already described some ideas here, but today we want to reveal 4 more that you most likely don’t know. From amigurumi to seed bombs, that’s it 4 original ways to reuse fluff.
Amigurumi
Do you know the Japanese art of crocheting or knitting small animals or anthropomorphized creatures? It’s called “amigurumi” and is very popular all over the world. If you also have this passion, we recommend using the fluff recovered from the dryer as stuffing for the cute puppets.
Seed bombs
You will surely know the famous seed bombs, also known as “seed bombs”: they are part of “guerrilla gardening”, born with the aim of spreading greenery in the city by sowing green bombs. Normally these bombs are balls of soil and seeds, but we can also make them with fluff, mixing it with clay and seeds. Everything must be moistened and crushed to form a ball. All that remains is to plant it in the garden, or in an outdoor field, letting nature take its course.
Bird nest
If your garden is frequented by birds, you could put a little fluff here and there to help them make their nest more comfortable. They will thank you!
Pet pillow
If you have saved up a lot of fluff, a great idea would be to use it as stuffing for a pet pillow. It will be warm and very soft.
