Today, at 56 years old, the Pianist from the Marches tells his journey with a serenity that surprises, mixing inner strength and passion for music. His life is marked by 23 infusions that have the aim of strengthening bones, while leaving heavy side effects: fever, pain and ten days of strong exhaustion.

The promise to live beyond the statistics
Allevi sees the hospital as a second home, not as a place of fear because, despite the fact that at first glance is the feeling that you can feel “then you realize that the hospital saves your life”. Here he finds strength and courage, also thanks to the talent of doctors and the great professionalism of hospital staff,
Looking forward, the pianist challenges the fate that has a prediction for him anything but rosy:
According to statistics I have before two years again, but I promise that I will celebrate the 95 years, because I don’t believe in statistics.
As for the present, his thoughts are clear:
In these 3 years I have wondered what it means to live fully. When I can feel that every second that is given to me it is a miracle then yes I am fully living the present.
