During the night, the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles hosted the 83rd edition of the Golden Globes, which for the first time awarded not only cinema and television, but also the world of podcasts. The films that dominated the evening
The most awarded title was One battle after another by Paul Thomas Anderson, which won Best Musical or Comedy Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and the award to Teyana Taylor for Best Supporting Actress. The film, inspired by Vineland by Thomas Pynchon, tells of a long spiral of political militancy, betrayals and broken identities, following a family destroyed by the conflict between extremism, repression and emotional bonds. It is a work about America, radicalization and power, and it is precisely this political ambition that explains its triumph.

Two Golden Globes went to Hamnet – In the name of the son by Chloé Zhao (Best Drama Film and Best Actress for Jessie Buckley), while The sinners by Ryan Coogler won Best Score (Ludwig Göransson) and the award for Best Box Office Result. Other award-winning performers include Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You) and Stellan Skarsgård (Sentimental Value).
The animated film that conquered the world
Great success also for KPop Demon Hunterswinner of Best Animated Film and Best Original Song (Golden). The film tells the double life of a K-pop girl band who fights demons using music as a weapon, fusing idol culture, fantasy and mythology. Its global success, driven by social media and viral soundtracks, however reflects a paradox: a K-pop fairy tale built outside of South Korea, which transforms Hallyu into a global brand rather than a local cultural expression.

TV series, there is no story with “Adolescence”
On the television front he dominated Adolescencewhich won four Golden Globes, including those for Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty and the very young sixteen-year-old Owen Cooper.
