Thirty liters of capacity in a single countertop appliance, capable of air frying, baking, grilling and dehydrating without changing appliances between one course and another. This is the proposal from HDC, an Argentine brand specialized in small kitchen appliances, with the HAF-SO30LBK smart oven. The weak point of traditional air fryers has always been the same, the basket. Perfect for two portions, too narrow when an entire family sits at the table or you want to cook more food together without taking multiple turns. Convection ovens with air fry function were created precisely to bridge this limit: they have the same principle, made of moving hot air which produces foods with a dry and crunchy surface, but with an internal space that allows you to manage larger portions, or multiple preparations in parallel.
The technical specifications of the HAF-SO30LBK model
According to the product sheet published by HDC on its official website, the oven delivers a power of 1800 W and allows you to adjust the temperature between 30 and 230 °C. The panel is a large touchscreen flanked by a selection knob, with 18 pre-set cooking programs: among these, air fry, baking, grilling, dehydration and keeping warm. The timer covers two different needs, i.e. up to 2 hours for normal cooking and up to 8 hours for fermentation or keeping warm. Dehydration, however, has a separate program, which can last up to 12 hours, a detail not to be confused with the main timer, which is more limited. One of the most interesting functions is the automatic double cooking: the oven can start with one of the five preset programs and automatically switch to a second (air fry, baking, grilling or keep warm), without the need to intervene halfway through cooking. Useful, for example, when you need to first seal at a high temperature and then continue more slowly.
Equipment and dimensions
The door has five layers of double glass, designed to contain heat dispersion; the oven integrates automatic shutdown and overheating protection. In the package, in addition to the air frying basket, there is a grill, non-stick tray, galvanized tray, pizza tray and a dedicated handle for extracting the hot trays.

The dimensions of the unit are 460 x 431 x 362 mm, for a weight of 10.9 kg, a size comparable to a medium-high range countertop oven, not exactly compact but designed to replace multiple appliances together.
A product still outside the Italian market
It must be said clearly that at the moment, in Italy, there are no official sales channels. The product is marketed by HDC on its e-shop in Argentine pesos, and a check of the main Italian household appliance retailers did not return any findings for this specific model. In short, the Italian market is still an unexplored land.
