The discovery of the skin of a bear puppy in a playground of Borgo d’Anaunia, in Trentino, represents one of the darkest pages of coexistence between men and wildlife. This is not an accident or an improvised gesture: it is the hand of an expert poacher, someone who has acted with surgical precision in the shaking and with the lucid will to leave a terror message.
The macabre scene under a slide for children
To make everything even more gruesome is the chosen place: a playground frequented by families and children. The bear, of about a year and a half, had been knocked out with a hunting knife and the skin, a tenders, was abandoned under a slide. It is difficult to imagine a more cynical and more cowardly act.
