He will last what he will last … but do you want to put a cottage house in the shape of a pumpkin?! Beautiful to go crazy, it will surely conquer the inhabitants (magic) of the garden! And the funniest thing is that there are a thousand ways to customize it.
Take a cut on the top of the pumpkin and, with the help of a spoon, empty the internal pulp. Instead of carving it as you do in Halloween, engraved only two side windows and one door on the front. To make the effect even more fairytale, cover the port with twigs, gluing them with hot glue, and add two crossed twigs on the windows, to form a small cross.
Now we move on to the decoration. One of the most beautiful is the one made with pressed flowers, to be applied with the decoupage technique. The procedure is simple: brush a little vinavil diluted with water on the surface of the pumpkin, glue the pressed flower and pass another hand of glue above. Thus proceed by adding other flowers and leaves, until it covers the desired surface. Let it dry for several hours.
Finally place your small house in the garden, on the terrace or where you prefer. If the space allows it, you can add steps to reach it, using simple wooden disks.
And in the evening … turn on the magic: insert a small candle inside (better if in LED, for safety) and let your enchanted pumpkin illuminate the most magical corner of the house. Fai will appreciate!
Of course you can customize it in many different ways, adapting it to your tastes. For example, instead of using a single pumpkin, you could use two, overlapping them, as in the example below.
You can add dry flowers (not pressed) around the windows and the door, keep it integral instead of covering it with twigs, and add all the favorite details.
In short, a large space for imagination!
