In Trevignano Romano, three days to learn about the stories of women who have challenged the world

From 7 to 9 November, the Cinema Palma in Trevignano Romano will host the third edition of the Trevignano DocStories Festival, an unmissable event dedicated to narrative documentaries. This year, the festival focuses on a powerful and universal theme: “Indomitable. Stories of women against the grain”.

The festival will explore the stories of women who, despite difficulties, silences and violence, choose to fight for change, for freedom, and for a different future. They are not heroines, but real women who challenge conventions, demonstrating that courage knows no limits. Among the protagonists of this edition are Claire, Hanifa, Kathera, Dilovan, Nan, Patima, Benedetta, Mariè Josè, Amani, Jackie and Eureka, all emblematic figures who, with their strength and determination, offer a testimony of resistance and hope.

The festival will not just be a showcase for documentaries, but an opportunity for reflection and comparison. On the programme, in addition to film screenings, there will be artistic installations, masterclasses and meetings with national and international guests. Each event aims to tell voices and stories that do not bend, that face indifference and challenge the rules of a still strongly patriarchal society.

The official poster of the festival, which perfectly captures the essence of this event, was created by the talented artist Enif Furletti, with the precious support of Daniele Blundo. The graphics embody the theme of this edition, with a bold and symbolic vision that celebrates the strength and resilience of women.

The festival is made possible thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Trevignano Romano and the collaboration with the Griffith Film and Television Academy. Three days of cinema, art and dialogue, in which female courage is the undisputed protagonist.

An event not to be missed for those who want to immerse themselves in true life stories, which inspire and pose challenges to contemporary society.
