Martina Favaretto, Martina Batini and Arianna Errigo, fresh from the splendid gold in team foil won at the 2026 European Fencing Championships in Anthony (France), are now respectively gold, silver and bronze (this together with Alice Volpi) also in the World Cup. An incredible result that repeats the one obtained in the April 2024 circuit test Tbilisi (Georgia).

Martina Favaretto she is also the reigning world champion, a title won in Hong Kong less than three months ago, last July 27th. Arianna Errigo, then, now more than history is legend: she is the active foil player with the most podiums in the World Cup, together with the same Alice Volpi with whom he now shares the bronze medal, and shared the world podium with Martina Favaretto winning the silver medal.
