This is his eighth career Masters 1000, the fourth in a row, the third in 2026 and the first on clay.
But the records conquered by Sinner today they don’t end here: with this victory, the South Tyrolean also becomes the second tennis player in history (after Novak Djokovic in 2015) to win both the Double Sunshine (Indian Wells And Miami Master 1000) than the Monte Carlo Master 1000 in the same season.
Not only that: Sinner he is the third man in history to win 4 consecutive Masters 1000. Before him they had only succeeded in the feat Novak Djokovic (three times) e Rafael Nadal (once).
