Let’s prepare for two special dawns, the Moon will put on a show with wonderful “celestial kisses”

THE’dawn on May 13th And that of the 15th they will be special: in fact the Moon will be the protagonist of two “heavenly kisses” unmissable, first with Saturnthen with Mars. Both events can be visible to the naked eye (weather permitting), although to better admire the details of the Lord of the Rings we recommend using at least good binoculars. Don’t miss it!

As the IAU explains, before dawn on May 13th the waning crescent Moon will rise in the East preceding the appearance of Saturn. Our satellite will be located in the constellation of Pisces, while the Lord of the Rings in the Whale. And with the telescope, close to the Moon, you will also be able to see it Neptune (on the map the sky of May 13, 2026 at approximately 4.35 am).

But it doesn’t end here, because among the lights of dawn on May 15thon the eastern horizon (in the constellationAries), the very thin waning crescent Moon will rise together with the planet Mars, which will be found in the Fish (on the map the sky of May 15, 2026 at around 5.00where we see that Saturn will still be visible in the same portion of the firmament).
