As the UAI explains, the radiant of alpha Leonidsor the point from which the shooting stars appear to start, will be visible from 9pm onwards, culminating around 2am at almost 60° above the horizon. The night between 30 and 31 January, the peak night, will be favorable for observation, given the complete absence of lunar disturbance (on the map the sky of January 30, 2025 at approximately 9.00 pm).
Our only satellite, in fact, will be in the New phase on January 29th, so it will be almost invisible even the following evening, the peak of the alpha Leonids.
