A rare and wonderful event is about to return, the “kiss” Venus Saturn: will be observable this evening March 8while the so-called is celebrated Women’s Day (what a party it isn’t). The conjunction could also be seen with the naked eye – weather permitting – but to better admire the details of the Lord of the Rings we always recommend using at least good binoculars.
As the UAI explains, on March 8, after sunset, we will be able to admire the close encounter between two planets, Venus and Saturnnot very high on the western horizon but still visible. Nearby, but not visible to the naked eye, it is also located Neptune. The meeting between the planets takes place in the constellation dei Fish (on the map the sky of March 8, 2026 at approximately 7.00 pm).
Clear skies will be needed, so better move away from sources of light pollutionand – as always – a bit of luck.
