All ready on the evening of May 28thwhen the “Kiss” Luna-Jovea show not very rare but always fascinating, and above all – time permitting – completely visible to the naked eye.
As the UAI explains, we are going to give ourselves to Jupiter who for many months has been the protagonist of the skies of the evening: in fact, already in the second part of May, the planet will be quite low on the horizon, observable only in the still clear sky of the evening twilight. And there are a few weeks left for the conjunction with the sun.
But at the end of the month we will have one of the last opportunities to try Jupiter’s observation in conjunction with our satellite. On May 28, in particular, the gaseous giant will set shortly before the subtle growth of the growing moon, in the Constellation of the Taurus (on the map the Heaven of May 28, 2025 at about 9.30 pm).
Not to be missed!
