For us at GreenMethe most significant and stimulating category is undoubtedly that of the Future Money Awards. This section is entirely dedicated to innovation and sustainability projects, key elements for the ecological transition and the development of a more responsible economy. Companies, SMEs and startups that have developed cutting-edge initiatives in these sectors are invited to apply, submitting their contributions in the subcategories Innovation And Sustainability.
Here we are looking for solutions that can shape a better future: from reducing the carbon footprint to the adoption of circular economy models, from the implementation of green technologies to the promotion of ethical practices along the entire supply chain. The projects will be carefully evaluated by a jury of experts who will analyze their originality, scalability and, above all, the real impact on the economic and social fabric of the country. It is a unique opportunity for companies that have been active for at least 12 months to highlight their commitment to a greener tomorrow.
The other categories that reward Italian excellence
In addition to the Future Money Awards, the 2026 edition is divided into two other equally prestigious categories:
Growth Money Awards
These awards recognize Italian companies that have recorded the greatest year-on-year turnover growth. The selection, based on the analysis of public balance sheet data by Money.it and the main sponsor Creditsafe (international leader in commercial and financial information), takes place without spontaneous application. The prizes will be awarded on a territorial basis (North, Centre, South and Islands) to companies with at least two deposited financial statements and a minimum turnover of 2 million euros.
People’s Money Awards
This category celebrates the innovative startups and e-commerce most appreciated by the general public. The winners will be decided by Money.it users through an online vote, guaranteeing direct and democratic recognition of the most popular innovation.
Visibility and networking opportunities
Participating in the Money Awards 2026 does not just mean competing for a prize, it is also and above all an extraordinary opportunity to gain visibility and expand your network of contacts. The selected companies will be the protagonists of dedicated editorial content on Money.it, reaching a vast audience interested in economics, business and innovation.
The finalists and winners will have the opportunity to participate in the final Gala evening, an exclusive event that will bring together successful entrepreneurs, decision makersinstitutional partners and prominent guests from the economic world. For the finalist companies there will be two free invitations to the evening, with dinner included, and for the winners coming from outside Rome there will also be an overnight stay, paid for by the organisation, at the Radisson Blu GHR Hotel in Rome.
The calendar and how to participate
Nominations for the 2026 Money Awards are already open and will remain so until 31 July 2026. After registration closes, evaluations of the projects nominated for the Future Money Awards and online voting for the People’s Money Awards will take place between September and October. At the end of this phase, the short list of the finalist companies.
Companies, SMEs and startups with operational headquarters in Italy can apply. Even those who participated in the first edition can resubmit their application, as long as the project has not already won in the same category.
