Now, after various honours, another great recognition has arrived for Nico Acampora: he has been chosen as torchbearer for the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

Nico Acampora’s torch does not only illuminate the road, but consciences
For him, wearing it is not a catwalk, but a profound gesture, full of meaning. It is brotherhood, peace, friendship, equality, hope.
Values that are also the soul of PizzAut, the project that has been shining light and dignity around autistic children for years.
That torch – says Nico – is very similar to PizzAut in its values. Indeed, it is PizzAut that resembles those values.
And so those 200 meters become much more than a race: they become a collective embrace, one step after another together with his kids, with their families, with those who every day just ask to be seen, heard, recognized. A flame that runs, yes, but above all it warms.
