PizzAut’s pizza chefs and waiters become a supportive toy (which supports the autonomy of young autistic people)

There is Matteone behind the counter who kneads with passion, Letizia who serves with a smile, Nico Acampora who welcomes and tells. And then there is the famous red PizzAut truck, where what everyone now calls “the best pizza in the known galaxy”.

From today, this whole world of work, dreams and inclusion becomes a game.

The magic is signed by PLAYMOBIL, which transformed the protagonists of PizzAut into real collectible characters, thanks to a collaboration with Toys Center and PizzAut Foundation.

Toys that build autonomy

Behind every miniature there is much more than a smile: for every toy sold, Toys Center will donate part of the proceeds to the PizzAut Foundation to support CasAUTentica, a project that offers autistic children spaces where they can learn to be independent, to manage small daily activities and to build, step by step, their own freedom.

The donation will be 2 euros for each character sold (4.99 euros) and 15 euros for each PizzAutobus (44.99 euros). Each purchase thus becomes a real brick of inclusion.

Since gaming is always a serious thing, we will finance what they call what comes after us. That is, the anguish of all of us parents about what will happen to our disabled children when we are no longer here.

And while the children play with Matteone, Letizia and Nico in the PLAYMOBIL version, they learn – without knowing it – one of the most important lessons: that inclusion is a game for adults.

A project that is good for you twice: for those who play and for those who, thanks to that game, will be able to live with more independence.
