February 27, 2026 will be a special date for all Pokémon and Lego fans: on the occasion of Pokémon Day which celebrates 30 years of the franchise, the first official LEGO® Pokémon sets will be launched. This collaboration between the LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International allows you to recreate the most iconic Pokémon in brick versions, bringing home the emotion of video games, anime and cartoons.
The available sets – for the moment only pre-orderable – offer unique experiences, suitable for collectors and enthusiasts of all ages. Among the protagonists stand out the three Kanto starters: Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, reproduced with over 6,838 pieces in an epic display set, with detailed articulations and bases that recall the Pokémon biomes. The cost is not for everyone: €649.99.
Pikachu and the Poké Ball: an icon brought to life
The LEGO® Pokémon set
Pikachu and Poké Ball instead allows you to recreate the most famous scene of the franchise: Pikachu jumping out of the Poké Ball. With 2,050 pieces and a black lightning-shaped base, the model showcases the electrifying energy of the Electric-type Pokémon. Among the most curious details, the number “25” engraved on the base recalls Pikachu’s position in the Pokédex. The model offers multiple poses, allowing you to display Pikachu ready for battle or sitting next to the closed Poké Ball, offering a dynamic and immersive building and display experience. The price? €199.99.
Eevee and the Kanto Badges: Collecting is an adventure
There’s no shortage of sets dedicated to other fan favorites. LEGO® Pokémon
Eevee is made up of 587 pieces, costs €59.99 and allows you to position the Pokémon both in motion and at rest, while the Kanto gym medals are available in an exclusive collector’s set, with an elegant display case. These medals represent the eight challenges of the Kanto region: Rock, Waterfall, Thunder, Rainbow, Soul, Swamp, Volcano and Earth.
A gradual launch to maintain the surprise
LEGO has chosen to reveal the sets progressively, creating anticipation and curiosity among fans. In addition to Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, new sets will include Mewtwo and other famous Pokémon, allowing you to build, capture and collect the entire Pokémon universe brick by brick. With this first LEGO® Pokémon collection
the magic of the Pokémon world becomes tangible: each set is a tribute to thirty years of history, an invitation to combine passion, creativity and nostalgia, celebrating the link between video games, anime and LEGO bricks.
