Located 37 kilometers south of the large island and one of the largest inside the Ciloé archipelago, in Chile, the Guafo island was on sale since 2020 and with its 197 square kilometers, stands out for its wonderful biodiversity and for the limited human presence. In the past, however, it was at the center of not a few controversies.

However, the sale was blocked by a court in 2019 following complaints of irregularities, but the rumors on his sale continued.
